Volunteer
Your Time
To better serve the community, Casa utilizes volunteers
in a wide variety of roles. Openings and training opportunities
vary by program. Volunteer opportunities include:

Phones. Answer phones at Casa to provide information, referrals,
support and crisis intervention to a wide variety of callers. |

Administrative Support. Assist Casa administrative staff in
daily tasks. |

Violence Prevention Educator. Present Violence and Prevention
programs to children in Head Start and elementary schools. |
| • |
Speakers Bureau Volunteer. Speak on behalf of Casa regarding
abuse and violence issues to local civic organizations, government
agencies, parent groups, school administrators and youth groups. |

Fundraising volunteer. Become involved as a volunteer in Casa’s
annual fundraising events. |
| • |
Ambassador for Casa. Present Casa’s mission, vision,
and goals to friends and associates, encouraging and arranging
formal agency tours to increase public awareness of abuse and
violence and Casa’s role in the community. |
